Welcome to Screen Meditation. By accessing or using our website (screenmeditation.com) or downloading and using the Screen Meditation mobile application for iOS, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our services or application.

Important Non-Medical Disclaimer

Screen Meditation is not a healthcare provider and does not provide medical advice.

  • The guided meditations, breathwork exercises, and soundscapes provided through Screen Meditation are intended solely for personal relaxation, mindfulness, and general wellbeing.
  • Our content and software do not diagnose, treat, mitigate, or cure any psychological condition, psychiatric disorder, sleep disorder, or medical illness.
  • Screen Meditation is never a substitute for professional medical advice, clinical diagnosis, or medical treatment from qualified doctors, psychiatrists, or mental health therapists.
  • If you are experiencing severe anxiety, clinical depression, trauma, panic disorders, or acute emotional distress, please seek the guidance of a licensed medical or psychological professional immediately. Never disregard professional advice or delay seeking care because of something you heard or read in this app.

Personal Use License

Subject to these Terms, Screen Meditation grants you a personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to download, install, and use the iOS application on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, strictly for personal, non-commercial mindfulness practice.

You agree not to:

  • Copy, modify, decompile, reverse-engineer, or disassemble any part of the application or website.
  • Capture, rip, distribute, rebroadcast, or publicly perform the audio recordings, voice tracks, or soundscapes.
  • Use Screen Meditation for commercial broadcasting, resale, or within paid group meditation studios without express written authorization.

In-App Purchases & Subscriptions

Screen Meditation offers both permanently free content and optional premium access tiers through Apple In-App Purchases (StoreKit 2):

  • Perpetual Free Content: Introductory guided sessions, Box and Coherence breathing tools, and the unguided silent timer remain free forever with zero ads.
  • Screen Meditation Premium: Unlocks the full meditation library, extended audio soundscapes, and advanced journeys. Available as:
    • Monthly Subscription: Auto-renewing monthly subscription charged to your Apple ID.
    • Yearly Subscription: Auto-renewing annual subscription, including a 7-day free trial where indicated.
    • Lifetime Access: A one-time non-consumable purchase granting perpetual access to all current and future premium content.

7-Day Free Trial & Auto-Renewal Terms

If you subscribe to an annual plan that includes a 7-day free trial:

  • You will have complete access to all premium features during the 7-day trial period at no charge.
  • Cancellation Requirement: To avoid being billed for the annual subscription, you must cancel the subscription in your Apple ID settings at least 24 hours before the 7-day trial expires.
  • If you do not cancel at least 24 hours prior to the trial expiration, Apple will automatically charge the annual subscription price to your Apple ID account upon completion of the trial.
  • Managing Your Subscription: You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time by visiting your iOS Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.

Billing & Refunds Handled by Apple

All financial transactions, billing cycles, tax receipts, and payment processing are managed exclusively by Apple Inc. in accordance with the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.

Because payments are made directly to Apple:

  • Screen Meditation does not possess your payment details and cannot directly process refunds, pause billing, or cancel subscriptions on your behalf.
  • If you wish to request a refund, you must submit your request directly to Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. All refunds are determined at Apple's sole discretion.

Intellectual Property Rights

All text, graphics, user interface designs, audio recordings, voiceovers, musical ambient compositions, visual brand elements, and underlying code are the intellectual property of Screen Meditation and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.

No audio files, written guides, or software components may be extracted, republished, or repurposed without our explicit prior written consent.

Limitation of Liability & "As Is" Warranty

Screen Meditation is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. While we strive to provide a seamless, bug-free mindfulness companion:

  • We make no guarantees that the application or website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every device configuration.
  • In no event shall Screen Meditation, its developers, voice artists, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your access to, use of, or inability to use the service.
  • You assume full responsibility for your personal physical and psychological comfort when practicing meditation and breathwork. Stop immediately if you experience dizziness, hyperventilation, or discomfort.

Governing Law & Severability

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
